A Valentine's Day Suitcase Vignette

If this looks familiar, you are right.  I posted this vignette last January.  In  the first two months of my blog.  I tweaked it a bit and re-created it again.

I purchased the "Cupid Awake and Cupid Asleep" vintage prints by M.B. Parkinson last year thrifting.  They are the anchor pieces of my Valentine's Day vignette.

Also in the suitcase, three glass jars with white buttons and white crochet threads, wood spindles, a bust of a girl, and a vintage look embroidered Valentine's Day pillow.

Lace gloves and a pearl necklace complete the vignette.

The lovely lady in the the gold oval frame is Aunt Gena.

I still love this vignette, even though it is so hard to photograph with the glare off of the frames.

When I took down my Christmas vignette in the suitcase, I thought about doing a new one, but my suitcase is green and I'm so I might wait until Spring! Love your white case and this vignette.

I just love that! So cute! My friend has a similar oval framed portrait of a family member. The craftsmanship on those is amazing.

Love the oval frames and white suitcase. Glare is the enemy:}

Sweet vignette. The star for me is the little stitched pillow. ;-)

Very cute. I love the lace gloves and pearls hanging from the top. I have no solutions to the glare other than removing the glass and that is a stupid tip!

The little white suitcase makes a wonderful anchor for all your cute pieces. Those cupids are pretty cool! I guess I should get a move on and do some Valentine's day decorating. But then you're sure to keep me entertained with all you do. Sometimes it's fun to just sit back and enjoy someone else's work and creativity. Thanks!

Don't ask me why, but I display my cupid prints in the fall. Never thought of taking them out for Valentine's Day!

I love this Carlene! I have to tell you, my FIL has those cupids hanging in his bedroom. I have always loved them. They have been there ever since hubby and I married. My MIL passed, but the room remains the same.
hugs,
Jann
